April Meeting: Robots in Medicine- The Mako

As an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in joint replacements at Beaumont Bone & Joint Institute, Dr. Rizk will demonstrate how he uses the Mako SmartRobotics for his patients right here in Beaumont, Texas!  A CT based plan captures each patient’s unique anatomy, and Mako’s AccuStop haptic technology helps him to  precisely and accurately cut what they’ve planned, ensuring optimal outcomes.
