June 2025 Meeting: Hypercortisolism- A Potential Underlying Cause of Difficult-to-control T2DM

Please come enjoy dinner with your fellow NP colleagues and help us welcome Rocio Harbison, MD from Advanced Endocrinology and Diabetes Clinic (Houston, TX) to our June meeting! 

Dr. Harbison is Board Certified in Endocrinology and a Fellow of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist. In addition to her clinical practice she is a primary investigator for multiple studies, a speaker and a volunteer for the American Heart Association.

Dr. Harbison believes that the patient physician relationship is a partnership focused on the long-term health and well being. She is an advocate for preventive medicine and population health promoting health and well-being to prevent disease. She has also a special interest in medical technologies as a means of providing the patients with self-management support as well as more meaningful clinical visits.

Dr. Harbison has been listed in Houston Top Doctors yearly since 2016 by the Houstonia Magazine.
