AGACNP Student Seeking Preceptor (Spring 2026 Semester - 2/23/26-5/10/26)
Hello! I’m currently an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) student with a background as a Registered Nurse in the operating room at a Level 1 trauma center. I’m seeking a preceptor beginning in late November for either my Advanced Practice Care of Older Adults course or Advanced Care of Adults in Acute Care Settings (160 clinical hours total).
I’m looking for a patient, teaching-oriented preceptor who enjoys sharing knowledge and fostering clinical growth. I’m particularly interested in gaining hands-on experience and developing skills in:
Airway management
Line placements
Wound care
EKG interpretation
Radiology report interpretation
Chest tube placement
And other acute care procedures
📍 I am located in Buford, GA but I’m open to travel within a reasonable distance and am open to various acute or critical care settings (hospitalist, ICU, ED, step-down, etc.).
If you or someone you know is open to precepting, I’d love to connect and discuss further!
